R.I.P. Lux Interior

It came a bit of shock to find out that Lux Interior, the lead singer of The Cramps, died on February 4th at Glendale Memorial Hospital at the age of 60 from a pre-existing heart condition. If you aren't familiar with his music, check out You-Tube or their offiical website: http://www.thecramps.com/.

  1. I was a bit bummed out to hear about Lux's passing. I can't honestly say that I was full-fledged fan of THE CRAMPS...but, darned if I didn't like a lot of their stuff! I got to see them play live in Austin, TX once...and just about every single friend of mine from 1980-1986 were Cramps fans.

  2. I saw them twice. The first time was at the Whiskey on the Sunset Strip in 1979 (I think), and then during the filming of URGH! A MUSIC WAR at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Rosalynd tuned out about the time that Lux briefly pulled out his penis on-stage. Me, I could watch Ivy in those gold lame' pants all night.
