I am interested in knowing what movies you have watched and what you enjoyed or not. So please send me an email at scinema@earthlink.net if you'd like to share. Here's what I watched last week:

Enjoyed:

THE LAST DETAIL (1973)

Mildly enjoyed:

BACKLASH (1947) - This film was made back when going to Topanga Canyon seemed to be like traveling out into the country.

Did not enjoy:

THE YES MEN (2003) - Even if you are a supporter of the anti-WTO pranks of these guys, this movie is a slog to get through.

THE ENFORCER (1951)

**********************************************************************

David Deal enjoyed:

THE ADDAMS FAMILY (19) - I liked this animated take on the famous clan that adds some welcome character development.  There are plenty of gags for the adults in the room, and the animation is accomplished and clever.  Well done.

THE DOUBLE (71) - Cult Action's copy of Romolo Guerrieri's Euro-noir is cobbled together from different sources which can be slightly distracting, but it is probably complete.

GUN CRAZY (49)

COMANCHE STATION (60)

THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (57)

Did not enjoy:

MUCKMAN (09) - Brett Piper's parody of the pseudo-documentaries purporting to prove the truth of legends like Bigfoot does not contain enough stop-motion animation, miniatures, or mattes that make his work worthwhile to me.

Charles Gilbert watched:

WINNETOU, THE RED GENTLEMAN (1964) The famed pacifist redman (Pierre Brice), backed by frontiersman Old Shatterhand (Lex Barker), expostulates with his warring brothers while falling in love with Rebenna,  (Karin Dor) daughter to one of the chiefs. During a pow wow with the U. S. Army, Lt. Merrill.(Terence Hill) proffers a gesture of peace by proposing to marry the same indian maiden, not realizing her engagement. Cave scenes in the end look like those of Castellana Grotto in SE Italy where depictions of hell in WITCH'S CURSE were filmed.
[In the US this was called LAST OF THE RENEGADES.]

Cimarron Strip episode: "Knife in the Darkness" Jack the Ripper has apparently made it to the American West. Several women in town are butchered during a dark foggy night in Sheriff Crown's province. The killer meets justice indian-style. Cal Bolder is credited but I didn't spot him.

Bonanza episode: 'The Ape' Big Cal Bolder plays a musclebound misfit whom Hoss (Dan Blocker) befriends.

Renegade on H &I (Heroes and Icons) Network:
'Stalker Moon' James Cromwell plays a maniacally eccentric college professor who moonlights as a serial killer.
'Repo Raines' Home run king Barry Bonds has a secondary guest star role.

Marciano vs. LaStarza I & II. Black and white vintage heavyweight fights from the early 50s. Roland LaStarza lost both, of course, as Rocky retired undefeated.

Wild, Wild West episodes:
     'Night of the Bogus Bandits'
     'Night of Montezuma's Hordes'
Roland LaStarza joins regular stuntmen/actors Whitey Hughes and Dick Cangey in both of theses episodes.
