I am interested in knowing what movies you have watched and what you enjoyed or not. So please send me an email at scinema@earthlink.net if you'd like to share. Here's what I watched last week:

Enjoyed:

LA FEMME DE MON POTE, aka MY BEST FRIEND'S GIRL (1983)

Monty Python's Flying Circus season two (1970-71) - Let's celebrate back when PBS showed naked people.

Mildly enjoyed:

A VERY MERRY MIX-UP (2013) - At first this seemed like a variation of WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING, but it turned out not to be. Alicia Witt was quite charming and the story wasn't too corny.

Monty Python's Flying Circus season three (1972-73)

Did not enjoy:

CHRISTMAS LIST (2016) - I'll watch Alicia Witt in just about anything. A Christmas wreath made of Crayola Crayons? Meet cute arguing over buying a Christmas tree?

MY FIRST WEDDING (2006) - I'll watch just about anything featuring Rachel Leigh Cook but I am frequently disappointed.

MADHOUSE (1974)

THE MISTLETOE INN (2017) - I'll watch Alicia Witt in just about anything.

David Deal enjoyed:

78/52: HITCHCOCK'S SHOWER SCENE (17) - Interesting documentary covers the topic with impressive depth.

THE HIDDEN HAND (42)

O'HORTEN (07)

VALLEY OF THE KINGS (54) - A fun archaeological adventure with tough-as-nails Robert Taylor and beautiful Eleanor Parker searching for a tomb.  Fabulous location shooting too.

THE FLESH EATERS (62)

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (66)

THE VAMPIRE'S COFFIN (58) - A Mexican modern Gothic horror tale told with visual flair.  Ripe for reevaluation.

DOCTOR X (32)

TORMENTED (58)

MIKE WALLACE IS HERE (19) - A documentary on the man that explores the link between show biz and news and his role in blurring that line.

THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (63)

FIND THE BLACKMAILER (43)

Charles Gilbert watched:

THE HITCHHIKERS (1972) In a cringeworthy tale of nihilist culture, a freewheeling 70's gal "in trouble" (Misty Rowe) runs from home and joins a "family" of thieves consisting of an aggressive hippie with his nubile harem. They trap and roll gullible male motorists in the American Southwest, occasionally indulging in d.s.a. parties. During the last 12 minutes of the film, producers Ferd and Beverly Sebastian, formerly contracted to Paramount Pictures, with belated mea culpa, present personal testimonies on their conversion and subsequent involvement in a Christian faith-based ministry whereby (her idea) retired greyhound racing dogs are trained to comfort prison inmates and military veterans with PTSD, their version of spreading the Gospel.

REVOLT OF THE BARBARIANS (1964) Roman soldiers investigate the continual robbery of its gold shipments in Gaul meant as remuneration for their services. Darius (Roland Carey) suspects mischief in the inner court centered around potentate Mario Felliciani. Maria Grazia Spina gets the female lead as Lydia.

The Cliff Richard Story. Prolific English entertainer had pop chart toppers for six decades and starred in SUMMER HOLIDAY which rivalled other box office movies of the same year.
